    • What are the benefits and risks of treatment?
    • What kind of side effects will I have? How about long-term effects?
    • If I don’t agree to proceed with treatment, will the cancer spread?
    • If I have radiation, can the cancer come back?
    • Are there other treatments that can help, and which ones would I need?
    • Are there other treatment options?
    • Can I participate in a clinical trial? Are there any for my type of cancer?
    • Will radiation affect my ability to have children?
    • Will I still be able to drive, and can I drive myself to and from the treatment facility?
    • Do I need to take special precautions or follow a special diet during or after my treatment?
    • Can I still smoke?
    • Is it safe to consume alcohol?
    • Is it safe to take vitamins or other nutritional supplements during my treatment?
    • Will I be able to continue my normal activities? Work? Sexual activity? Exercise?
