Dr. Kapadia is board-certified in internal medicine and hematology. He is dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based cancer care that honors each patient's individual needs and values while integrating the latest treatment advances with holistic approaches to healing.
Dr. Kapadia completed his medical degree at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Phoenix, followed by an Internal Medicine Residency at the same institution, where he demonstrated exceptional leadership serving on multiple committees and as Social Media Chair of the House Staff Council. He then pursued dual fellowships at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson: a Hematology and Oncology Fellowship and a distinguished Integrative Medicine in Hematology and Oncology Fellowship through the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine.
Throughout his training, Dr. Kapadia has been recognized for his dedication to patient-centered care, receiving the Stacy Akdjian Heart in Medicine Award. He has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and presented his research at national conferences. His work on integrative oncology fellowship training and novel supportive care interventions demonstrates his commitment to advancing the field while maintaining focus on patient experience. His research spans from acute myeloid leukemia treatment strategies to integrative oncology interventions, reflecting his belief that optimal cancer care addresses both physical and emotional well-being.
Dr. Kapadia is an active member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology. He serves as a Board Member of The Arizona Clinical
Oncology Society and participates in multiple institutional committees focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion. Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Kapadia has maintained a decade-long commitment to grief counseling, volunteering as a facilitator for grieving children and teens.
Dr. Kapadia treats all types of cancer with particular expertise in hematologic malignancies and integrative approaches to oncology care. In his spare time, he remains dedicated to community service and continues his work supporting families navigating grief and loss.
