Medical Oncologist / Hematologist

Natalie Stanton, MD, is board-certified in both internal medicine and medical oncology. 

Dr. Stanton has been an instrumental leader of Tucson Medical Center’s GI (gastrointestinal) Tumor Board. Each week, Dr. Stanton, along with a multidisciplinary care team meet to review and discuss patient cases and to freely share knowledge with each other. The care team includes medical and radiation oncologists, radiologists and interventional radiologists, surgical oncologists, reconstructive surgeons, pathologists, palliative care, genetic experts, highly experienced nurse navigators and other specialists.

Dr. Stanton’s participation as part of this team, ensures that her patients are receiving the best care, and that recommendations for treatment are based on years of combined experience.

For several years, she served as a Board Member for a local non-profit organization that provides supportive services to patients undergoing cancer treatments.
